President Trump is once again caught between a foreign policy rock and a hard place. He announced an “energy ceasefire” between Russia and Ukraine, but Zelenskyy posted Sunday that Russian drones have been pounding Ukraine “all day,” adding, “A power plant in Kharkiv was attacked this evening.” Trump is simultaneously locked in a war of words with Zelenskyy, suggesting he should be replaced after demanding Ukraine stop hitting Russian refineries — and blaming him for high diesel prices. Now, to bring those prices down, Trump is cutting a deal for Russia to supply hundreds of thousands of tons of diesel fuel, drawing opposition from several GOP lawmakers. And another front is flaring. Trump says the U.S. “may” join the fight against the Iran-backed Houthis after a new Riyadh airport attack and more hits Sunday.
Guest host Edward Lawrence with Rebecca Heinrichs, Richard Goldberg, Phil Flynne, Michael Faulkender, Christina Skinner, Byron York, Hogan Gidley and Sen. Marsha Blackburn
