MICROSALT PLC - Investor Presentation

MicroSalt PLC delivered an investor update highlighting accelerating commercialisation of its patented low-sodium salt technology, supported by growing regulatory pressure on global food manufacturers to reduce sodium. The company reported FY2025 revenue of $2.1 million and projects revenue of approximately $4.5 million in 2026, rising to around $15 million in 2027 as a major North American customer rollout scales. Management expects improving margins as production runs increase from approximately 50,000 lbs to 200,000 lbs, generating procurement and manufacturing efficiencies, with MicroSalt targeting cash flow positivity and profitability as volumes ramp during FY2027. The growth strategy remains focused on major global food manufacturers, including a four-year joint development agreement with a key customer and opportunities across multiple brands, product categories and international markets. MicroSalt is also expanding its product portfolio through MicroSalt Premium and MicroSalt Fibre, while pursuing applications spanning snacks, bread, soups, sauces and other food categories. With a capital-light contract manufacturing model, approximately five million kilograms of current production capacity and a 60-month product shelf life, the company believes it is positioned to support larger-scale customer demand. Management emphasised its long-term revenue growth opportunity, patented technology, strengthening customer relationships and increasing scale efficiencies, while noting that lengthy testing and procurement cycles can make revenue growth uneven between major commercial rollouts.
