He has used his experience not only to protect his community but also to train, mentor, and support others. This mission is deeply personal to Richard and his family. He is the father of four sons, three of whom have been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Under Richard’s leadership, the Romito Foundation creates family outings and special events, provides much-needed respite opportunities for caregivers, and helps children and young adults participate in power wheelchair soccer. As Richard transitions from his law-enforcement career to focus full-time on his family and the Romito Foundation, he continues to follow the same purpose that has guided him throughout his life: serving others, strengthening his community, and making a meaningful difference for families. “This Disease Does Not Define You.” Richard Romito President/CEO Romito Foundation richard.romito@romitofoundation.org 303-718-2538 romitofoundation.org Inside Westminster is proudly sponsored by: Presidential Bank Mortgage Company NMLS #421593 | Equal Housing Lender I 303.668.5891 I www.OwnYourFuture.net Brett Popish NMLS 253202 Westminster Chamber 303.961.5975 www.westminsterchamber.biz
