(I apologize for the audio. Clearly something was off.)
The Indiana Fever overcame an early five-point deficit with a 24-6 run to close the first half, taking an 11-point lead into halftime before holding off multiple late Chicago runs for a 90-86 win at the United Center — their 20th victory of the season.
Caitlin Clark finished with 26 points and 11 assists, while Kelsey Mitchell scored 27 to extend her streak to 16 consecutive games with at least 20 points. Aliyah Boston added 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Makayla Timpson started in place of Monique Billings.
The game also featured plenty of controversy: DiJonai Carrington was assessed a Flagrant-2 and ejected in the first quarter after a hard transition foul on Sophie Cunningham, while Clark received a third-quarter technical for contact with an official — a call that should be rescinded by the league.
