FurAffinity.net (Part One)

After 20 years online, the institutional furry art community FurAffinity.net has recently been struggling to pay their bills. While things seemed to have stabilized for now, it's a great excuse to discuss the history of the site! We're looking at the primordial ooze of small furry websites and forums that existed before FurAffinity, its initial creation, and some of the early turbulence of its reign. Our first piece of show merch is out: ENEMY OF THE POD bumper stickers! https://www.winslowdumaine.com/stickers/enemy-of-the-pod-bumper-sticker Get over 50 bonus episodes of IFTI, hours of solo episodes every month, and more fun bonuses for just $1 at https://www.patreon.com/IFTIpod Buy a Five Dollar Holler at https://www.patreon.com/IFTIpod/posts/five-dollar-172926868 You can review this episode's document with sources (and pictures) at https://tinyurl.com/IFTIPodFurAffinityDoc Created and Hosted by Winslow Dumaine - www.winslowdumaine.com/ Jay Brandstetter - linktr.ee/jaybrandstetter Produced and Edited by: Steve Brown - linktr.ee/killhamster Intro and outro music are "no saviors" and "in failure" by steveisbroke off of their album "steve and his week of wonders", used with permission. https://steveisbroke.bandcamp.com/album/steve-and-his-week-of-wonders Hosted on Acast.
