I grew up bathing in a creek in Appalachia with no running water. I dumpster-dived for makeup because I didn't know what skincare was, I just thought the cream made me prettier. I was teased mercilessly, bullied constantly, and told myself on my 8th birthday that I wasn't special and didn't deserve anything. 

I spent my twenties self-destructing and my thirties finally becoming the woman I'd spent my entire life fighting to be. And then at 40, women started telling me it was all downhill from here. 

So I built a skincare company called Rewritten. And I sat down with a glass of champagne to tell you about it.
