In another of our conversations with industry figures, Sophie Bee takes us behind the scenes of some of dance music's biggest events, revealing what it really takes to bring world-class club experiences to life. As the creative force behind La Discothèque which currently hosts Thursdays throughout July at 528 Ibiza, while also working with Hacienda Classical, Warehouse Project, Block9 at Glastonbury and other major productions, she explains the hidden world of creative direction, production, performers and problem-solving that audiences never see. Sophie also talks about championing women across the industry, nurturing the next generation through education, and creating inclusive events that capture the glamour, freedom and spirit of Ibiza. Along the way, she shares her favourite island spots, reflects on how Ibiza has evolved, and reveals what's next for La Discothèque as it continues to celebrate the island's unique club culture.
