show notes
The trial of Duane "Keefe D" Davis is set to start this morning inside the 8th Judicial District Court in Las Vegas. Davis is facing a charge of murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang in connection with the 1996 drive-by shooting death of rapper Tupac Shakur. The first order of business in the court today will be selecting the jurors who will decide the fate of 63 year-old Davis who prosecutors say ordered the killing in retaliation for a gang fight.
History of the 90s host Kathy Kenzora is in court and will provide daily updates on the trial that has been 30 years in the making.
