We also discussed how the actions of Trump, Musk, and DOGE have violated the separation of powers and how Congress and the Supreme Court are failing to properly exercise their checks and balances on the Executive Branch.

On this week's episode, we discussed the free exercise clause of the first amendment. Specifically we discussed what the limits are for a person's free exercise of religion. Once conclusion we came to was that a person's freedom of religion ends when that freedom starts to take away someone else's constitutional rights.

No Matter the Result, We Should Accept the Result
Even if we don't like the results of an election, it's important to accept the results, especially once all legal challenges are exhausted. Continuing to insist that an election was stolen when there's no evidence is bad for everyone. If there are issues with the voting system, we should try to fix them, not just fight about them.

We have the right to vote, but we should also remember that we have a responsibility to vote to make our voice heard and that we should accept the results of the election even if it doesn't turn out in favor of our preferred candidates.

I was always taught growing up that equal opportunity in education already existed and that every student in America had the same opportunity to succeed as long as they put in enough work.
