All About Tomatoes (And One Herb, Too)

Today it’s all about tomatoes. We learn about all the tomato varieties currently at Green Acres Nursery & Supply, and some tricks to planting them to get those tomatoes off to a healthier start.

And we pay a visit to Wild Boar Farms, where tomato hybridizer Brad Gates tells us all about his colorful, California-bred tomatoes with wonderful names such as Berkeley Tie-Dye, Pork Chop, Barry's Crazy Cherry and dozens more that will be arriving at Green Acres the first week of April. 

We'll share a staff pick that isn’t a tomato…it’s a very fragrant garden herb, any guesses?
