Where do the PFS and CII go from here?

The Chartered Insurance Institute's decision to appoint a majority of directors to the Personal Finance Society's board has triggered a chain of events which has led to resignations from the PFS and anger among its members.

But the events of the past few weeks have, in many ways, been the result of a chain of events going back several years.

This week, FTAdviser's deputy editor Damian Fantato is joined by Sarah Lord, immediate past president of the PFS, and adviser and academic Richard Bishop, to discuss how the two organisations got here, where they can go from here and what, if anything, advisers can do about it.
