Nick and Scott are back with a brand new mini-series devoted to the live action films of director Wes Anderson, and it all begins with Anderson’s 1996 debut feature, Bottle Rocket.

It all started with a short film starring his friends the Wilson brothers that took Sundance by storm and landing Anderson a development deal at Columbia Pictures for $700 per week, more money than Anderson and co-writer Owen Wilson had ever seen before. But when the feature version of the successful short film fails to live up to the hype (or make any money), what is a fledgling director to do, and how will he continue to make a mark on Hollywood?

Joining Nick and Scott to talk about romanticized crime sprees, delusional planners, and finding success in failure is guest Chris Callaghan.
