Crystal Lake

In this episode, we review the 2026 American slasher miniseries developed by Brad Caleb Kane that is based on the Friday the 13th film franchise. Starring Linda Cardellini, Callum Vinson, William Catlett, and Devin Kessler titled Crystal Lake which serves as the prequel to the 1980 film. We discuss whether this series adds more depth to an already famous franchise, and we debate whether we want to see more classic horror franchises go this route with prequels.
