If you play all 22 original UK singles in chronological sequence, you witness first hand the creativity of John, Paul, George and Ringo. That progress was not a smooth climb. There are some huge leaps which can be demonstrated by the singles Strawberry Fields Forever, Hey Jude and Let It Be. The groups 7th single, A Hard Days Night, indicated that they were starting to move away from there 'Beat Group' sound. With its strident guitar chord intro, it demonstrated a new level of creativity being explored within the walls of Abbey Road studios. In this episode we take a deep dive into the follow up to A Hard Days Night. With its feedback introduction, I Feel Fine announced that The Beatles never wanted to look back, when it came to new material.
