So this week I'm saying the part you're not supposed to say out loud as someone in HR.

I have sat in the rooms and been a part of the decisions to shortlist candidate applications.

Although there are loads of reasons people don't get shortlisted, this is the thing NO ONE would admit to..... even though it happens a lot.
