Interview Mikael Carlsson

Mikael Carlsson is the man behind the Swedish record label MovieScore Media which is now around for 20 years. MovieScore media is specialist in releasing music for films and it’s primarily focus is on music composed by up and coming composers and from smaller, independent feature films. Some of the first albums they released was music written by Benjamin Wallfisch, Daniel Pemberton and Pinar Toprak. In this special edition of Composer Talk we talk to Mikael Carlsson, who’s the founder of MovieScore Media. He takes us through the history of his filmmusic label and some of it’s memorable moments.
