The Club x Club series turns to Crystal Palace, a recent Fantrax favourite now going through real upheaval. Glasner's gone, replaced by Pierre Sage off the back of one overachieving season at Lens, and Karl (who did the research) walks a squad that has the whole group nervous. New manager, new pressing style, Europa League football, and key names linked with the exit door.
The lads dig into what the uncertainty does to draft value. Whether the number-one defender off the board is badly overvalued given his age, the transfer rumours, and where he actually finished last season. There's Tim's punt-defenders-late thesis in full flow, with a late-round sleeper the group thinks gets you nearly the same production as names going ten rounds earlier. Plus the crowded, unsettled forward line and how pressing might reshape who starts up top, a Discord-favourite midfielder who keeps promising a breakout that never comes, and a wide man whose Watford ghost-point glory days may be behind him.
