S&P futures are down (0.3%) and pointing to a lower open today. Asian benchmarks erased gains from early in the session and closed mixed. Japan's Nikkei rallied +2% in the morning but closed in the red, South Korea was of similar pattern but held some gains, Hong Kong was weighed down by hefty losses in tech names, and Mainland China benchmarks were mostly lower.
