The Faceless Guest

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys kick things off by recapping their recent appearance on the God’s Country Podcast and discussing their upcoming trip to Nashville, Tennessee, to join forces with Blurry Creatures. Then, things take a strange turn with a terrifying Hellhound sighting and a backyard cookout that becomes anything but ordinary when a witness claims to see a large hog transform into an upright, Bigfoot-like creature. In rural Louisiana, something tries to enter a man’s truck in the middle of the night, while a witness in Kentucky looks skyward and spots what appears to be a flying manta ray. The encounters get even stranger in a Maryland marsh, where an odd silhouette reveals itself to be a three- to four-foot-tall, dark green humanoid with a toad-like face. Elsewhere, a disembodied female voice calls from the woods after dark. Is someone out there in need of help—or is something trying to lure a witness into the trees? Next, a Pennsylvania park ranger notices a strange odor near a campsite before encountering a seven- to eight-foot-tall creature walking down the road. Was it a Sasquatch, or something else entirely? And in Killeen, Texas, a man spots a cloaked figure crossing the road at two in the afternoon—an encounter that sounds eerily similar to reports of the elusive Glimmer Man. Finally, the guys explore the unsettling story behind “The Faceless Guest.” For nearly a decade, a witness reports encounters with a towering, pale humanoid with long, spindly fingers and no face. It follows them from house to house, appearing in dark hallways and quiet living rooms. But as the years pass, their fear gives way to an unexpected sense of comfort—until the night they say goodbye.
