Other Side

What are you relying on to give your life security, satisfaction and meaning? Our culture can tell us that having enough money, being self-sufficient, enjoying ourselves and gaining the approval of others will bring fulfilment. But Jesus challenges us to look beyond what appears successful on the surface and consider what truly lasts. Mike explores the dangers of self-satisfaction, self-sufficiency, living purely for enjoyment and seeking the applause of others. In contrast, Jesus offers something far greater: a life of purpose, hope and dependence upon Him. The Christian life is not simply about believing something in our heads. It is about knowing God personally and allowing that relationship to shape the way we live. When everything else fades, God offers us a life held securely in His hands.
