The Bible contains a clear and solemn divide between the way of the world and the way of faith. Cain and Abel's hearts revealed two entirely different spiritual allegiances: Cain belonged to the wicked one, while Abel approached God in faith and lived righteously. Cain's religion produced pride, envy, hatred led to murder; Abel's faith led to humble worship and obedience. True Christianity is not merely a profession of belief but a transformed life marked by righteousness and love for God's people.
