Invisible Hug

That tight feeling in your tummy when you have to say goodbye to someone you love is a big feeling for little ones to manage - and it's completely normal. In this episode, Evie shares the story of Kit the koala, who loves hugs more than anything but has to face his very first day of school without his Mum by his side. Through Kit's story, children learn a gentle self-soothing technique called the “Invisible Hug” - something they can carry with them wherever they go, whether it's the school gate, a grandparent's visit ending or any moment where goodbyes feel hard. By the end, we practise the Invisible Hug together with a calming rhyme, so your child has a real tool to use next time those big feelings show up. Hosted on Acast.
