The Giants couldn’t have scripted John Harbaugh’s debut much better. New York controlled the Cowboys from the opening drive, imposed its physical style and delivered the kind of dominant performance Giants fans have been waiting years to see. The biggest difference was obvious: coaching mattered.
Jaxson Dart looked more decisive, getting the ball out quickly and taking advantage of a Dallas defense that couldn’t pressure him. The Giants pounded the football, Isaiah Likely created matchup nightmares, and a crucial sequence after Tyrone Tracy’s fumble showed how this team can overcome mistakes instead of unraveling. Even against a flawed Cowboys defense, the Giants finally looked like the bigger, tougher and better-coached team.
