Evan Fires Back at Jets Crowd Criticism

Jets fans take heat for the atmosphere at MetLife, and Evan Roberts wants none of it. After hours in miserable rain and another crushing loss, Evan defends the crowd, argues the stadium was louder than critics claim and explains why the frustration felt so familiar for a fan base accustomed to painful endings. Tiki Barber and Shaun Morash weigh in on the whiteout, the weather and just how miserable the entire experience became. The conversation then circles back to NFL overtime strategy after Evan realizes he had one detail wrong about the Colts-Chiefs finish. That correction leads to a deeper debate over why teams choosing to defend first may need to stay aggressive on fourth down, and why Aaron Glenn’s bigger problem was failing to adjust his overtime plan to what the Jets were actually doing on the field.
