Episode 2 - What is BigFix Again?

John's Apple Pie

  • store bought pie crust - don't mess around with this...
  • 1/3 small coffee mug cup sugar
  • 2 spoons from the kitchen drawer of all-purpose flour
  • sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1 spoon from the kitchen drawer of salt
  • 2 spoons from the kitchen drawer of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • absolutely NO nutmeg
Preheat oven to 425

Directions: 

  1. Peel apples with fancy peeler
  2. Place crust in pie tin and bake for 10 minutes
  3. Mix everything else and place in pie crust
  4. Put top pie crust on and bake, take out when the outer crust turns dark
  5. Remove from oven
  6. Let cool
  7. Eat pie
