Are you prepared to stand before Jesus Christ as judge? That is a daunting question, but it is the ultimate end that we must keep in mind if we are to have a proper understanding of apologetics and Christian evidences.
Hello again, friends. I am Wayne Shepard, your host here in Encounter God's Truth, this radio program featuring the classical Bible teaching of Dr. John Whitcomb. He's been teaching apologetics for many decades, and we sense his passion for the subject in our current message called God's Perfect Provision.
God's perfect provision is his Word, the Bible, and it tells us that all people, both believers and unbelievers, will be judged specifically by Jesus Christ. It also tells us how to be prepared for that judgment. We'll learn much more about the details of these judgments as we conclude this sermon today.
Dr. Whitcomb will take us to passages such as Acts chapter 17, verses 30 and 31, which says, “The times of ignorance got overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”
So we invite you to stay with us now and follow along in your own Bible, if you can, as Dr. Whitcomb describes how passages such as this can help us minister to the world as we see it today.
Once again, from the auditorium of Appalachian Bible College, here is Dr. John Whitcomb.
