Es kommt einem wie ein triviales Spiel vor, aber wir beschäftigen uns mit der Anzahl Möglichkeiten, eine Zahl, wie z.B. die 5 als Summe von kleineren Zahlen zu schreiben, also etwa 5 = 4 + 1 oder 5 = 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1.
In dieser Folge geht es um die Kombinatorik, die Nanotechnologie der Mathematik. Als Gebiet der Mathematik geht sie von Abzählproblemen wie dem oberen aus. Deren Lösungen sind Zahlenfolgen, für die wir Datenbanken wie die OEIS haben. Erkennt man, dass zwei Zahlenfolgen gleich sind, steckt dahinter meistens mehr.
