show notes
On Halloween of 1992, the BBC aired a new broadcast that sent the nation into a panic: real life video evidence of a brutal poltergeist at work. At least, that’s what some people thought, especially children. Ghostwatch was fictional, and they said so, but it was so well-done that it remained controversial. This episode has us diving into a cultural phenomenon that we were completely unaware of, though we’ve absolutely loved the things it’s influenced.
Join us next time for an episode on The Blair Witch Project.
