Spring Breakers (Movie History, Plot Breakdown, & Pairings)

This week we kick off our A24 season with the first big financial success for the distributor, "Spring Breakers." We discuss the early days of A24 and its beginnings. We then dive into this movie by discussing Harmony Korine's writing and directing work and the production of this film. We then cover the story and experience of the film by discussing the plot. Finally, we each pair the film with another for a pair of double bills! Thank you so much for listening!
