Welcome to Episode Sixty-Seven of Do You Dare?
This week we are looking at a hoax haunting that led to a very real murder.
(Trigger warnings: N/A)
In this episode Em shares the story of the Hammersmith Ghost, a fabricated tale of a ghost from 1800’s England that scared a town so much it led to the murder of a completely innocent man after a tragic case of mistaken identity.
Following along as we unpack how this very real death had ripple effects that led to changes in UK law.
Thanks to everyone who has joined us for this week's case and we hope to see you back next episode when Em covers the case of a mass kidnapping that changed the way professionals treated PTSD in children.
