134: MISSING: April Pitzer

On June 27, 2004, 30 year old April Pitzer was last seen in Newberry Springs, California, after telling loved ones she was preparing to come back home to Arkansas. She had been terrified for her life and was desperate to return, but she never made it back. In the months that followed, investigators received a series of strange and unsettling tips, including one involving a message written on a truck stop bathroom wall hundreds of miles away that appeared to reference her disappearance. Investigators eventually determined April was likely murdered. But more than 20 years later, no one has been charged, and her family is still searching for answers, her remains, and the person responsible.
