EP 140 // THIS is why nothing feels cohesive in your home decor

Have you ever tried so hard to make your home look Pinterest perfect, but felt frustrated with the result? Why is nothing gelling? Why does this feel harder than it should? Why is it so overwhelming?

That's the cohesion problem, and it's one of the most frustrating things about decorating because it's invisible. Nobody can point at one thing and say "that's the culprit." It's everything and nothing all at once, which makes it feel impossible to fix.

Here's what usually happens at that point. You either go on a massive shopping spree trying to tie it all together, or you freeze completely because the whole thing feels too big to tackle. And neither of those moves the needle.
