Robinhood generated more second-quarter revenue from prediction-market contracts than from either crypto or equities trading, showing how quickly event contracts are becoming a major business line. Binance.US now plans to seek a CFTC license to compete with Kalshi, Polymarket, and Robinhood, while Core Scientific continues being revalued as an AI and data-center infrastructure company through its large AMD partnership.

The episode also covers U.S. sanctions against Iran-linked firms accused of using Bitcoin, South Korea’s proposed consolidated crypto law, Hungary reversing a restrictive conversion rule, Ostium’s $23.75 million exploit, and Aave’s plan to wind down underused markets. Matt also discusses ARK Invest selling several crypto-related stocks while adding SpaceX exposure, as Bitcoin remains near $64,755 and the Fear & Greed Index sits at 38.

Happy Hodling, Everyone.
