Ruby busks with her eerie bone flute, Stenny gets pickpocketed, Mac reluctantly gets pulled back toward his fighting past, and the party discovers that the entrance to the arena is hidden in the least dignified place imaginable. Beneath the market, the adventurers find a packed underground fight club watched over by Shadow Doves, gamblers, nobles, criminals, and the formidable Melina, highborn elf and ruler of the Rust Below. With Orlan’s name on the fight card, Mac enters the tournament under the unforgettable alias Mac Pissmist, setting the stage for blood, coin, grudges, and brutal D&D 5e arena combat.
