“There is in the land of Mnar a vast still lake that is fed by no stream and out of which no stream flows” - ‘The Doom That Came To Sarnath’, H.P. `Lovecraft. A friend of mine is a scientist who models water flows through landscapes. He gave me some of his raw data to see if I could ‘sonify’ it. His data provides the core electronic sounds here, which I have augmented with real found sounds and synthesised voices, recorded live in AUM on iPad.
