Welcome to Crease and Desist, the only hockey podcast where we officially demand you respect that last line of defence and stalwart of the ice, the goalie.

We're your hosts, Fiona and Kay, otherwise known as the Goalie Girls. We are MASSIVE Toronto Maple Leafs fans from either side of the pond. Fiona lives in Scotland and travels over regularly to catch the Leafs in action. Kay lives in the centre of the hockey universe, Toronto and is a Leafs lifer. We live and breathe hockey, riding the highs and suffer the lows of Leafs life and we just LOVE goalies. From the gear, to the the weirdness and everything in between, we have huge respect for the absolute grind it takes to stand back there.

In this podcast, we'll be focusing on the Leafs action, because, let's be honest, being a Leafs goalie is less of a job and more of a psychological endurance test and we are here to document every second of it. We'll track the stats, analyse the peaks and troughs, and debate the inevitable controversies that keeps Leafs Nation wired!

But we aren't just local, we're scouting the entire NHL crease, checking in on the goalie elite and occasionally acknowledging that other positions exist, if they do something cool enough to catch our eye!
