Coping With Intuition

In her new album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, Olivia Rodrigo sings, “It’s feminine intuition, ’cause I always had a vision of us standing like this”, and Jannah couldn’t agree more. (Alice has notes). 

We live in the most information‑heavy moment in human history, yet we’ve never felt less certain. So this week, Alice Griffin and Jannah Anderson turn inward to examine intuition itself: Olivia Rodrigo’s album and the wave of intuition content it’s spawned, the gut feelings that felt like more than coincidence, and the booming psychic‑industrial complex attempting to sell our “inner knowing” back to us at scale. The irony being that the more we try to outsource intuition, the less we’re able to trust our own.

And because the wellness zeitgeist never sleeps: your clothes are trying to kill you (they’re not), and the skincare being marketed to three-year-olds.
