Poole’s Cavern is one of Derbyshire’s finest natural limestone caves, offering visitors the opportunity to explore a remarkable geological landscape shaped over millions of years. Surrounding the cavern, Buxton Country Park provides more than 160 acres of mature woodland, diverse wildlife and scenic walking trails just minutes from Buxton town centre. The sites are managed by Buxton Civic Association, a charitable trust working to protect the area’s natural environment and heritage while providing opportunities for visitors to enjoy and learn about this unique landscape.
