Doonbeg Fáilte Fest Announced For Irish Open Week

Doonbeg is getting ready to welcome visitors for the Amgen Irish Open, with the local community pulling together to make sure the village is very much open for business. Doonbeg Fáilte Fest will run from September 11th to 13th, with live music, family entertainment, local food, arts, heritage and a West Coast Showcase. Daragh Dolan was joined by Cllr Rita McInerney and Jennie Drysdale, members of the Doonbeg Irish Open Committee, to hear about the plans and the message they want to send to visitors: come for the golf, stay for Doonbeg.
