Mary Shelley's Frankenstein

After the success of his audacious 1992 hit BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA, Francis Ford Coppola decided to produce a follow up that would be a similarly lavish, and more accurate, interpretation of a classic horror tale. The result is MARY SHELLEY'S FRANKENSTEIN, an ornate and operatic new version of the famous tale directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh, with Robert DeNiro as the monster. Legendary story? Two of the world's finest actors? What could go wrong? Turns out a quite a bit; we'll get into the film's tortured production and it's legacy, and then address another shambling monster: the SNES game adaptation! Hosted by Steve Guntli, Jennifer "JBan" Bannister, and Justin Wilhelm Logo by Douglas McCambridge Email: cinemarcadepodcast@gmail.com Instagram/Threads: @cinemarcade_podcast YouTube: @CinemArcade Next week's episode: Hellraiser
