King Arthur

Arthurian legend gets the mid-aughts Jerry Bruckheimer treatment with 2004's KING ARTHUR! The Antonine Fuqua-directed epic stars Clive Owen, Keira Knightley, and a who's-who of European character actors in a more serious, historically accurate interpretation of the classic tales. But does conveying the "real-life" origins of the character strip away some of the fun? We'll get into it, and we'll also get into the Xbox game adaptation, a co-op beat-em-up in the vein of LORD OF THE RINGS. Hosted by Steve Guntli, Jennifer "JBan" Bannister, and Justin Wilhelm Logo by Douglas McCambridge Email: cinemarcadepodcast@gmail.com Instagram/Threads: @cinemarcade_podcast YouTube: @CinemArcade Next week's episode: The Mask
