The Bible Translation 'Superiority Complex'

Word-for-word or thought-for-thought? KJV, NIV, ESV, NASB, NLT — does it actually matter which one you pick up? Tony and Dean get into why there are so many English Bible translations, what "literal" translation really means (and why it's not as simple as you think), the cultural pressure and quiet elitism around which version you use, and the handful of translations they'd actually tell you to avoid. Watch to find out where the line is — and why it might matter less than you've been told. If you enjoyed this episode, consider liking this video and subscribing.
