Interview

Kalinda has been described as one of the most intriguing up-and-coming artists in the trance space … Join host Phil Leirness as he gets better acquainted with this thoughtful, delightful and multi-faceted artist. Phil learns about that “trance space", he learns about electronic dance and rave scenes, and the discussion goes deep into the origins of not only this “kind” of music, but of music itself, as well as into Kalinda’s relationship to music and music-making. They discuss music composition, production and deejaying. They discuss dance. They discuss catastrophic computer error. They discuss “The X-Files” and its spin-off “The Lone Gunmen”. Two great songs are analyzed in detail and the exact meaning of “old school” is considered. Learning is fun. Music is fun. Kalinda is fun. Enjoy!
