Chatterbox Redux Podcast

Nick & Sue

The Chatterbox Redux Podcast with Nick & Sue is an off-shoot from the highly successful weekly, two hourly, syndicated Chatterbox radio chat show, which can be heard on over 200 radio stations across the United Kingdom and on further radio stations in other territories,

Chatterbox originally started as Chatterbox UK during the first lock down and was born out of regular Sunday afternoon interviews on a tribute version of the former pirate radio station Radio Northsea International.

The guests come from the 1950's right through to the present day, and range from A-listers and B-listers, through to wannabe's and has-beens, and range from singers, TV stars and presenters, authors, podcasters through to the odd boxer and missionary. You will also find the odd Beatle.

The Chatterbox Podcast format is being used in addition to the new radio shows from February, 2026, while classic and older interviews are all being re-edited to make them suitable for a podcast, and to make older interviews sound time-less to the listener.

Many great Rockstar's, Musicians and Singers are among those that have taken time out to chat about their lives and to let us know what they are doing. The songs are not included in the podcasts on account that it is not a music show and also to counteract copyright issues.

The Chatterbox Podcast makes great listening and we hope that you listen to the podcast regularly. Please subscribe and make it one of your favourites so that you never miss an episode.

we can be contacted at nickelbum@myyahoo.com , this includes listeners, radio stations that are interested in taking the main Chatterbox Show, or potential guests.

Alternatively, correspondence, including press releases and music can also be sent the old fashioned way in the post to

    Trisha Marie

Trisha Marie is an emerging, fiercely independent singer-songwriter who records and produces her music completely from home. Rather than being a product of a traditional corporate incubator or a major city's industry hub, she represents the modern wave of digital-age creators who build their audiences organically. As a mother and daughter navigating everyday realities, her background is rooted in turning personal survival, raw journaling, and emotional reflection directly into art. The Sound and the Story Trisha’s music is a compelling, genre-bending mix of pop, rock, and country. She cites a wide range of inspirations—from the dark, atmospheric pop of Billie Eilish and the edge of Ronnie Radke to the powerhouse vocals of Kelly Clarkson. Her entry into the music industry wasn't planned; she began writing and releasing songs as a personal lifeline during a bout with depression. That profound vulnerability struck a massive chord online. Before her official, polished releases hit streaming platforms, raw teasers of her tracks "Adhd" and "Just Like You" went viral on TikTok, pulling in staggering numbers (roughly 4 million and 11 million views, respectively). Some Key Releases. "Voices": A standout single written during a turbulent period, capturing the suffocating feeling of losing your own identity beneath the noise of other people's expectations. "Adhd" & "Just Like You": The tracks that put her on the map via viral video platforms. Other notable tracks in her growing catalogue include "Cowgirl Impulses," "When Lights Go Out," and "Losing Grip on Reality." Back in June, rising alt-rock act D3LTA announced his long-awaited debut album ‘Mad About It’, Marking his first full-length record and first body of work since 2023, the record introduces D3LTA’s most expansive material to date. Last Friday D3LTA also shared his stunning new single ‘Daydream’ off the upcoming record, which he debuted live at this year’s The Great Escape. The track is available HERE. Written between London, Athens, and Los Angeles, ‘Mad About It’ finds D3LTA navigating themes of mental health, youthful disillusionment, longing, and isolation through a blend of indie-rock and cinematic songwriting. Inspired by artists ranging from Talking Heads, David Bowie and Twenty One Pilots growing up, D3LTA builds a sound that forms a backdrop to these pertinent themes. Mark Christopher Lee of NUB TV

This edition is brought to you in association with Old Glory Tee-Shirts and fan merch. Please scroll down to find the link in order to get your 15% listener discount. Mark Christopher Lee of NUB TV pops by to tell us about his latest documentary, King of UFO's, which take an in-depth look at the Royal Family and their deep interest in UFO's and the paranormal. The King of UFOs is a new entertaining thought-provoking documentary which explores the British royal family’s interest in UFOS and the unexplained - appealing to both UFO believers and fans of The Crown! It is now streaming on Amazon Prime (free for Prime members):https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/video/detail/B0DH74P3JH/ref=atv_dp_share_cu_r The film looks at the interest that the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip had in UFOs and crop circles. It delves into an episode where Prince Phillip was due to meet an alleged alien called Janus at a flat in Chelsea. This Janus had already met with Phillip's top aide Sir Peter Horsley, and he wanted to pass on information about saving the planet to Phillip. The meeting never took place, and it is most likely that this Janus character was actually a Russian Spy. The film also interviews Richard Felix a historian known for starring in TV's Most Haunted. He talks about the Vatican having UFO secrets hidden in its archives. Felix states: "The Queen has alleged to have requested documents from the Vatican Secret Archives. The headquarters of the Catholic church has a well-known secret archive where documents go back thousands of years, possibly detailing the origins of Christianity and such like. But also, there are allegations that they're holding the truth about the UFO phenomena - 53 miles of corridors full of secret documents and items including skulls of extraterrestrials down in the cellars amongst other things. Although they believe the world to be 6,400 years old, they are into aliens. They've got an observatory in Arizona. They have an observatory at the Pope's Summer palace in Rome. The film has exclusive access to unreleased archives and interviews with witnesses and explores the extraordinary claims that the then Prince Charles piloted an experimental UFO craft in Canada in 1975. A Canadian diver who was working on a secret military project at Sandy Point states that the craft was powered by an electromagnetic force and Charles was one of 3 pilots in the craft who were taking it to the NASA base at Langley in the US. He adds that the because of the dangerous magnetic forces involved in the propulsion of the craft, Charles’s skill as a pilot undoubtedly saved lives that day. He also adds that the craft was submersible and may have been the same craft that led to the famous Shag Harbour UFO incident which happened nearby in 1967. .This edition is brought to you in association with Old Glory Tee-Shirts and fan merch. Please scroll down to find the link in order to get your 15% listener discount. This bonus edition dates back to the lock-down and was originally broadcast live on Nick's Saturday Night Show on the former Swinging Radio England (Closed 2022), when Mike Pender, lead singer of 1960's Liverpool group, The Searchers, pops on for a chat. It was re-edited and used as a Chatterbox interview and now we share it here for your delight as a podcast. Michael John Prendergast MBE (born 3 March 1941), known professionally by the stage name Mike Pender, is an English musician. He was an original founding member of Merseybeat group the Searchers. He is best known as the lead vocalist on many hit singles by the Searchers, including the song "Needles and Pins" and "What Have They Done to the Rain?". In his early years, Pender worked at a printing company (Charles Birchall & Sons (Liverpool) Ltd.) as a day job in between playing nightly gigs with the Searchers. According to Pender, he is responsible for choosing the band name for the Searchers. "The band was founded by myself and John McNally. In 1957 John and I went to see the film The Searchers starring John Wayne. I was an ardent Western fan and so I dragged John along with me to see it. I take the credit for choosing the name 'the Searchers' and for co-founding the band in its original form". Some years ago, Mike Pender claimed to be a member of two fictitious groups he played in before his years with the Searchers. After the Searchers recorded the singles "Sweets for My Sweet" and "Sugar and Spice", Pender took over lead vocal duties from Tony Jackson.
