show notes
Two years into this podcast, and somehow the conversations keep getting more honest.
This week starts with a six-year-old making a birthday wish that reminds us what kids actually value most—and turns into a much bigger conversation about parenting, success, money, marriage, and the lives we’re all trying so damn hard to build.
We talk about learning to parent the kid in front of you instead of expecting perfection, owning the ways our own childhoods show up in how we raise our kids, and realizing that breaking generational cycles is about a whole lot more than making more money than our parents did.
We also get into the pressure to constantly achieve more. More money. More production. Bigger goals. The next milestone. And what happens when you finally ask yourself: What am I actually chasing all of this for?
Because maybe success isn't having everything as quickly as possible. Maybe it's building a life you actually enjoy living—with people you love, work that supports it, and enough perspective to recognize when you already have a lot of what you were chasing in the first place.
Two years later, we're still figuring it out right alongside you.
