Red(Part One)

For their first music-based episode and first two-parter, Madie chooses her favorite Taylor Swift album: 2012 (and 2021)’s Red. As the gateway point to Ren’s love affair with all things Taylor, he joins Madie on a walkthrough of the original thirteen tracks and explores what makes this album a standout — and one of the most important turning points in Taylor’s career. Canonically Good Hang is a video podcast hosted by Ren Cottam and Madie Thatcher. Each week, they’ll host a discussion on a load-bearing piece of media, from Taylor Swift albums to early-2000s Disney classics. You can follow them on social media or shoot them an email.
