Before Roland Emmerich’s 1998 flop, Hollywood nearly made a faithful, epic, and monster-packed Godzilla film — directed by Jan de Bont (Speed) with creature designs by Stan Winston Studios. It had fire breath, giant bat monsters, and a creature that was actually Godzilla.

This week, Cambo and Eden dig into the wild story of Godzilla ’94 — a cancelled kaiju epic with exploding glaciers, conspiracy theorists, and a Golden Gate Bridge showdown. Plus: alien probes, burning snow, and Helen Hunt almost fights a griffin.
