show notes

"Will I ever truly learn to love myself? Logically I believe it — but I get so frustrated because I don't fully feel it."

A client sent me that specific question this week, and the answer came to me so fast I knew it had to be an episode. Because it is probably NOT the answer you're expecting.

The belief that self-love is a skill you have to study, practice, and eventually graduate from is the exact thing standing in your way. You already know how to love yourself — you do it all the time...you just haven't noticed.

In this episode:

  • Why "learning to love yourself" is the wrong frame — and what to do instead
  • The proof you already know how to love (you're doing it constantly)
  • What self-love actually feels like — quiet, ordinary, and easy to miss
  • The everyday moments that are self-love in disguise: going to bed on time, letting yourself off the hook, stopping the self-beat-up
  • Why the striving is really a dysregulation pattern — and how regulating changes everything

You're not behind on some self-love curriculum. The love has been there the whole time — it's just buried under the belief that you haven't learned it yet.
