Not Waiting For Hashem's Blessing

This class is based on Likutey Moharan lesson 24 The reason why Yaakov was so adamant and determined to receive the blessing from Eisav's angel there and then and not wait for Yaakov to receive the blessing directly from Hashem at Beit El (where the angel of Eisav would also be there and consent to the blessing) is that Yaakov wanted to transform the angel himself from sadness and melancholy into joy and delight so that there would always be an opening for Yaakov's descendants - especially before the end of days - so that we too can always find an opening to turn sadness into joy in the merit of Yaakov and all the tzaddikim who parallel and emulate Yaakov too.
