Lesson 2 of Part 2 of Likutey Moharan teaches that combining heartfelt crying over personal struggles with sincere thanksgiving to Hashem opens the gates of truth, reveals salvation, and connects a person to the World to Come. Rebbe Nachman also emphasizes that daily Halacha study is a priority, possessing extraordinary spiritual power, with one day of learning considered equivalent to a year. This is illustrated by the story of Rav Eidi, who traveled great distances to learn for just one day, and the young man from Brahilov, whose arrival completed the revelation of this teaching. Rebbe Nachman’s special attention to this young man also hints at the universal reach of his teachings, including their connection to Sephardic Jewry.
